Genesis 1:16-18
God made the two great lights, the greater light to govern the day, and the lesser light to govern the night. He made the stars to. God placed them in the expanse of the heavens to give light on the earth, and to govern the day and the night, and to separate the light from the darkness, and God saw that it was good.

Ezekiel 8:16
Then He brought me into the inner court of the Lord’s house. And behold, at the entrance to the temple of the Lord, between the entrance and the altar, were about twenty-five men with their backs to the temple of the Lord and their faces toward the east; and they were prostrating themselves eastward toward the sun.

Luke 21:25-26
There will be signs in sun and moon, and stars, and on the earth dismay among nations, in perplexity at the roaring of the sea and the waves, men fainting from fear and the expectation of the things which are coming upon the world; for the powers of the heavens will be shaken.
